The November 2014 Los Angeles stop of Meteor's worldwide day, hosted and produced at Workpop, opening with the introduction to Meteor.
Meteor organized a worldwide event across 134 cities. Workpop hosted and produced the Los Angeles gathering at its Santa Monica office, drawing a hundred attendees and making it the largest Meteor LA event of that period.
The opening talk introduced Meteor and walked through the new tutorial and example applications. The programme also included a deployment session, a live question-and-answer session with a Meteor core developer, and a show-and-tell featuring a Hidden Switch build. The group met at Workpop again in April 2015, following a January talk on policies in Meteor applications.
Workpop was built on Meteor.
