Safari Par-Tee is a slingshot-putting game for children aged six to thirteen, set across three biomes (meadow, desert dunes, and icy flats) that map onto any room or yard scanned with a smartphone. Matches support one-on-one and two-on-two play, scored on a PGA Jr. League scorecard. It was built for the PGA of America as a flagship release for Niantic’s Lightship ARDK augmented reality platform.

The design bible holds scanned level designs drawn hole by hole in pencil and red pen, with a legend for wind, bounce surfaces, and hinged rocks. Each hole functions at any scale, in bedrooms and back yards alike. Rather than concealing furniture, the game incorporates the scanned physical geometry of the space as an active hazard.

The game was released on iOS and Android on 27 May 2022.
