This fork keeps direct Thunderbolt connections between computers running under heavy load, and adds an engine for remote direct memory access over Thunderbolt.
The Thunderbolt driver carries direct network connections between computers over Thunderbolt cables. This fork centralizes the connection handshake and holds the link up under load by retraining it, replugging the connector in software, and taking over an unresponsive firmware manager; it also adds an engine for remote direct memory access over Thunderbolt, which multi-node training in diffusion-pipe runs on.
