Calico networking for Windows on IPv6

author of the fork, 2026

A fork of the Calico Kubernetes networking system that runs Windows nodes on dual-stack and IPv6 clusters, where upstream Windows support covers IPv4 alone.

Calico provides the networking layer for Kubernetes clusters, and its Windows implementation covers IPv4 alone. This fork runs Windows nodes on dual-stack and IPv6 clusters: it bootstraps Windows networking, masquerades IPv6 service traffic that falls through, rebuilds the network bridge after a reboot drops it, reconciles routing against Windows’s own routing service, and publishes the resulting images from continuous integration.
