Quilt generates images for health companies at volume. ComfyUI, the standard tool for this, is designed to run on a single designer’s workstation, one image at a time.

The production deployment runs ComfyUI on Quilt’s own Kubernetes cluster, scales with demand, and gives artists an interface that does not require engineering knowledge. Components the pipeline needed and that did not exist were written for it. Infrastructure spend is reviewed quarterly against cheaper configurations.
