visual effects, 2012–2014

Visual effects for Alexander Berman's short film about a young app developer, made with an AFI Production Award.

Covered in Sony CineAlta Magazine Sloan Science & Film

Alexander Berman directed the film. The visual effects are its on-screen displays and user interfaces, designed to look unlike actual software.

It was the first AFI film shot on the Sony F65, which is why Sony wrote it up in its own CineAlta magazine and screened it at the Paramount theater during Cine Gear Expo in 2014. It showed at Tribeca the same year.
